A surprisingly large percentage of IT system back-ups can prove to be faulty when they are needed for emergency data recovery. With this in mind, Egton has developed the Data Validation Service (DVS).

With egton professional’s^® DVS, we take a copy of your regular system data back-up and test it thoroughly. On receipt of your back-up Egton will check the data can be read and that it is formatted correctly, recreate the system on Egton’s server, analyse the data and produce statistical reports, copy the data onto an optical media.

Egton’s DVS verifies that your data back-ups can be used to recreate the database held on your IT system, protecting you against dangers such as fire or malicious damage and helping you to rest in the knowledge that your data is safe, secure and reproducible.
